Why not WordPress or a template?
Templates look like the next 10,000 sites built from the same template — fine if you don't mind being invisible. WordPress drags in plugin bloat, security headaches, and monthly maintenance for things that should just work. Hand-coded sites load faster, rank better, and cost less to keep running long-term.
How long will my site take?
Most projects ship in 2–4 weeks from kick-off. Bigger scopes (custom CMS, multilingual, integrations) take 4–6. I'll give you a date in the proposal — and stick to it.
What about hosting and maintenance?
Hosting on Vercel or Netlify is usually free or a few dollars a month — I'll set it up under your account so you own it. Maintenance is optional: most clients go months without needing anything. When they do, I'm a WhatsApp away.
Can I edit content myself?
Yes — the Growth tier includes a lightweight CMS (Sanity or Decap) so you can edit copy, swap images, and add posts without touching code. Essential tier is best when you don't need ongoing edits.
Do I own the code?
Completely. You get the full source on GitHub at handoff. No lock-in, no licensing fees, no "platform" you can't leave.
What if I need changes after launch?
The Growth tier includes 1 month of post-launch tweaks. After that, changes are hourly or you can keep me on a small retainer. Either way: no surprise invoices.
